Tranquillity is the first of three pieces in the Minyon Falls set for piano solo. They were inspired by the waterfall of the same name on the North Coast of Australia, close to Byron Bay. It captures the feeling of the immediate impression of the rainforest, the beauty and sense of calm.
This piece was a set piece for the Piano Solo Australian 13-14 years section of the Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod, 2013.
